After a career at Shell, I made the decision to focus fully on sport and coaching. It started with CrossFit and strength & conditioning, and Hyrox followed naturally once I saw how well it rewarded athletes who trained with a real plan instead of just working hard.
That's still the core of how I coach today: understand the athlete in front of me, test what actually matters, and build a programme around real data — not a generic template.
